Data protection is serious business and we've got a serious backup system in place. When your H-Sphere account lives in DC1 (data center one), your data is backed up to DC2 (data center two). You can guess by now where the backups go for accounts living in DC2. Right! They're kept in DC1. Physically separating the backups guarantees against catastrophic loss and adds one more level of protection for your data.

How can we afford to do this? A better question would be, can we afford not to do this? Our customer's entrust us with their data and we don't skimp on the backups. We maintain each of the last 6 days, along with 2 weekly sets and 2 monthly sets of all traditional shared and reseller accounts. That means there's always a minimum of 10 backups, at different points in time, of all your data. We can restore a single file, an entire website, or even individual MySQL tables if necessary.
